This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by JJK Personnel Ltd and its subsidiary undertakings (“the Group”) to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. We recognise that modern slavery is a serious criminal offence and a grave violation of fundamental human rights. As a recruitment specialist operating in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, and sourcing labour internationally, we acknowledge the heightened risks associated with the recruitment and sectors we operate in. We are committed to conducting our business ethically, transparently and with integrity in all our operations and relationships.

We specialise in sourcing, vetting and placing temporary and permanent professionals for our clients.
Our Supply Chain
We source workers directly and do not outsource recruitment activities to third-party agencies. All workers are met inperson to verify identity and right-to-work documentation, ensuring the individual placed is the individual engaged and paid.

Our Policies
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery supported by:

- Supplier Code of Conduct
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy
These policies prohibit forced labour, human trafficking, child labour and worker-paid recruitment fees and provide clear grievance mechanisms.
Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
We assess modern slavery risk across our sectors and supply chains, including construction, healthcare, outsourced services and payroll arrangements.
Our controls include:
- Direct worker sourcing and identity verification
- Comprehensive right-to-work checks
- Regular site visits and workforce engagement
- Screening and monitoring of labour providers and payroll partners
- Supplier oversight and contractual compliance requirements
- Supply chain mapping and risk-based reviews
We liaise with relevant authorities and industry bodies to remain informed of emerging risks.
No incidents of modern slavery were identified within the Group during the reporting period.
Response Framework
We operate a structured Modern Slavery Response Framework with clear timelines for investigation, corrective action and victim safeguarding. Concerns are handled promptly, confidentially and in a victim-centred manner.
Training
Modern slavery awareness training is mandatory for relevant staff and reinforced through ongoing briefings and toolbox talks.
Governance
This statement has been approved by the Chief Executive Officer on behalf of the Board of Directors and will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
