Contracts Manager - Energy Infrastructure

A leading international engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and grow its Energy & Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division in Ireland.

This is more than a traditional Contracts Manager role. It is an opportunity to take ownership of an established and growing business unit, leading a dedicated team while driving expansion across Ireland's energy infrastructure market.

With the autonomy to shape the direction of the division, you will be responsible for developing client relationships, securing new projects, overseeing successful project delivery, and building a high-performing team capable of delivering complex electrical infrastructure works.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will have fullresponsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the Energy& T&D division in Ireland.

Key responsibilities include:

·      Leading, mentoring and developing amultidisciplinary team delivering high-voltage and energy infrastructureprojects.

·      Driving business development activities andidentifying opportunities to grow the division across the Irish market.

·      Building and maintaining strong relationshipswith utilities, developers, EPC contractors and key industry stakeholders.

·      Winning new work through strategic clientengagement and commercial awareness.

·      Managing multiple contracts frompre-construction through to successful completion.

·      Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time,within budget and to the highest quality standards.

·      Taking ownership of commercial performance,including forecasting, reporting, contract administration and risk management.

·      Supporting tender submissions, pricingstrategies and bid development.

·      Recruiting and developing talent as the businesscontinues to expand.

·      Identifying opportunities to improve operationalperformance and maximise profitability.

About You

·      You are a commercially minded leader with astrong background in electrical infrastructure and a proven ability to deliverprojects while developing new business opportunities.

·      Extensive experience in a Contracts Manager,Operations Manager, Project Director or similar senior leadership position.

·      A background in Transmission & Distribution,substations, utilities, renewable energy, power infrastructure or otherhigh-voltage electrical environments.

·      Strong commercial and contractual managementexpertise.

·      A successful track record of winning work andbuilding long-term client relationships.

·      Experience managing and developing projectdelivery teams.

·      Excellent knowledge of project controls,programme management, financial reporting and contract delivery.

·      Outstanding communication, negotiation andstakeholder management skills.

·      An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition togrow a business and build a successful team.
